All around New Orleans, you spot the fleur-de-lis - an old French symbol that signifies French royalty, is the emblem for the New Orleans Saints footballs team, but has also been adopted as a symbol of strength, unity, re-birth and renewal of the city in the wake of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
