Rolf Harris!
Yep... Just ran up to him in a car park and got a piccy with Rolf. He's like the uncle I always wished I'd had. Which is strange, as my uncle is Australian and looks just like that! Sorry uncle Albert.
Morning from bestival day two!
Hello campers! (and greetings to those of you at home under your duvets). Saturday morning here at Bestival is a little cheery - but thousands of us are up and about and ready for a day of fun! Though not yet in fancy dress, I am attempting to bring some cheer to the day's proceedings in a colourful rain mac and spotty brolly. Hello!

And so it begins...
The official fancy dress day is tomorrow .. But some people have started early and look incredible! I'm always so impressed when people make a massive effort and look so great and unusual... For no reason other than to entertain. These two were like giant chess pieces on stilts.
The bestival site
The site here at Bestival feels bigger than any other festival on my adventures so far. It takes nearly an hour to walk from one side to another and there are hundreds of different performances happening every day! These amazing flags are near the karaoke Sing Star tent where I saw a scaringly pitch perfect rendition of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun... done by a man. He was amazing! The sun even came out for a bit :)
Hot chicks!
This year's dressing theme is fantasy. So if three young men dressed as fluffy chicks sounds like your dream come true.. You're in luck :)
Morning queues
Sometimes I wish I was a boy at festivals. The queue for men's loos doesn't exist - because they're all peeing up against some fence or into a ditch in the woods. Whereas us ladies are required to stand in line. It is, however, a good place to make friends :)
Brrrrrr
Yes indeed is that time of the festival day again where I brave the cold tap for a morning head wash. So so so cold. But worth it!

This weekend.. it's Bestival!
Hey hey hey! I am getting very excited about this weekend's Festival - Bestival!
Bestival creator Rob Da Bank was one of the judges on the panel on my assessment day for getting this job - so am excited to see what kind of an event he has created! On top of that, I have a load of friends going - as well as this weekend's winners - so it's going to be a blast.
Only problem - it's fancy dress. The theme is 'Fantasy' which is pretty broad - and I reckon people will go as a whole heap of different things. However, I need an outfit that is distinctive, colourful, fun, easy to carry, warm and waterproof. Not asking for much am I? ;)
All ideas welcome. Reply to me on Twitter at - @KatieParsons.
Thank you!
Ps: here is me as a wizard many years ago.
